I cannot harvest it yet

Philippines

It's been more five months since I've harvest pods from this Moringa Tree and now it's grows again. Some neighbors asked me for some leaves and he was grateful for it. So I thought it was the best time to gut it's branch. But this morning Mom stopped me because she thinks it would grow more pods because of it's flowers. Instead I modified the long hook we've used in the past so it would just focus in cutting the pods.

I think the pods are being added to dinengdeng. Oh, I miss eating dinengdeng. My mother hasn't recovered yet from her stroke last Dec. 07. She cooks it deliciously.

@Letranknight2015 What type of dish was that? Can you ask how it was cooked. I am interested to know because I know it is delicious. Our mother's mind is okay. Her right paralyzed can now feel because she moans when her elbow is hit. She can already stand with the aid of another person. She can already sit erect in a wheel chair. The doctor said it will take quite sometime before she can fully recover because she's already old. She's already 80.

This plant grows very fast. We do have one at our backyard back in the provinces and when you cut one branch several new branches sprout out in exchange for that one branch you cut,

Sadly, if it isn't a fully grown tree it wouldn't have that much pods on it @rsa101

Moringa is Malunggay in english but it's commonly known as drumstick
Moringa nutrition is surprisingly high in folates, pyridoxine, riboflavin, vitamin-C (141 mg -235% DV), dietary fiber, and minerals. In addition to pods, M. oleifera (drumstick tree) flower tops and leaves are also an excellent source of health-benefiting

I have a small bush.. ( not a tree) three feet in height, its a year and a half old and I got about 30 pods this summer. It has flowers again, but i don't think it will grow into fruits as the weather has turned cold now.
