Well, I dropped my younger daughter to school and soon after an hour, I got a call from the teacher that she was not keeping well. She got slight temperature and was made to lie in sick room. I had to go back and pick her up. There was a huge traffic and due to tree cutting on sides of roads ( with metro under construction), it was a long jam. I was delayed to her school. We came back and now she is taking rest. It seems like a seasonal allergy. I called my doctor and he asked to watch for a day before bringing her to clinic. She ate a little and is sleeping now. The temperature seems to be okay right now. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I hope she is fine soon.

@anil02 That is a good practice. I give them milk with turmeric and jaggery as a regular practise.

Bangalore has maximum number of seasonal allergies cases and asthma. Weather is favorable for viruses and bacteria to flourish. I am giving her home made kadha with all ingredients mentioned by you.

She is much better now. It is surely that dry cold due to seasonal allergy and home remedies should work.

@sofssu Yes I also the simple home remedies of taking steam and the drink of ginger and basil leaves. 
And definitely mom's prayer does wonders.
