They had a snow day!

Yesterday my kids had a snow day. It wasn’t a very fun filled one but it was still a day off of school for them. We watch some movies, did home work, played. Did any one else had a snow day yesterday or today?

The school system here closed because of Hurricane Florence, I think it was only closed a day, maybe two. We have had sleet overnight and into the next morning, that was earlier this week. I don't think they delayed anything. So no, no snow day yet.

We had a 2 hour delay this morning so the kids went in at 9:50 instead of 7:50

We have more snow days coming in the future but first one for this school year. Normally they don’t hit till Jan or December

We need a blizzard to have a snow day. The grass is still green and looking outside, the snow from my neighbor across the street's home, finally melted. The snow we were supposed to get last night and today went south. We didn't get any. I'm saying all that to say I'm jealous. I love snow! I hope your kids had fun in the snow.

We get snow a lot during the winter months so it’s always interesting to see when the first snow day will be.

No we don’t have make up dates we have built in days where the kids do x amount of school so they don’t have make up days.
