Very busy day

I had a friend tell me about this food pantry that is open every 3rd Friday and that we should go check it out, so we went and the people were so nice and told us that they are sorry but the truck didn't come in because of the snow so we will only get some food. Some people were so upset about that and I'm happy to get anything, but I did get more than I was expecting. The best thing was we got a whole chicken and a 5 pound thing of hamburger meat. I'm so thankful of this and it's helps out a lot.
Then I bumb into a friend that had some clothes for me that she didn't want and the rest she is taking to Goodwill. It was a good day, and now my husband and I fixing to eat so I will be back.

Yes they are great and I'm glad we got stuff as well, now I'm going to do the same and donation food and clothes.

Thank you and yeah now I have to go through my clothes as I don't want many being in the camper as it adds more weight, so the clothes I dont want I will give away to someone that needs it.

That's great, and sounds very helpful - from the food pantry and your friend.
There is a place here that does that, but I think it's a box of fruits and veggies. Might be good for my husband and son....but I don't eat them lol.

We have a little one in town and they give you a sack full but this one I went to has a lot to give a person. Yeah that would be nice to get for your family to snack on.

They probably will as they have a Christmas basket but it also depends on the weather and if the truck shows up. But I'm not hard to please so even if they only have one thing to give out I'm still thankful.
