Many believe that intelligence is innate, some believe that its about through rigorous training to gain it. This topic was discussed on our Psychology 101. This topic was one of the most controversial and most widely debated by psychologist, up until now its still a paradox. What is your stand by this discussion?

My psychology teacher talked about this and according to her both nature and nurture are involved. She said said that people inherit a potential intelligence and they might or might not use that potential. One person inherits the potential to become very intelligent, the person has a supporting family and goes to the best schools and they become very intelligent. Another person also inherits the potential to become very intelligent, but because of factors in the person's environment the person doesn't manage to use their potential.

I'm thinking also like that. Their is a potential intelligence within us, except we nurture that potential we can cultivate to a more higher intelligence. This two goes hand in hand when it comes to intelligence.

@dave121495 Intelligence is such a thing which always depends on experience and reading. And the most common resource of intelligence is book and activity. A little part also has braveness another part is environment. I don't know you like this reaponse or not but I tell from my view.
