Once again, last weekend I had a little free time while the wifey was out shopping, so I decided to play my guitar a little bit and recorded a few of the fun songs I like to play from time to time.
For this one I included a couple from Gordon Lightfoot (Carefree Highway and Sundown), The Eagles (Take It Easy, Desperado, and I Can't Tell You Why), Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, and some Duran Duran (Rio and Hungry Like The Wolf).
Never trying to be a rock star, just always having fun and I enjoy sharing.
A little bit of crackle through the file. I think I have too many 'dead' files on the computer from the recording software I use. One of these days I need to clean it out.
Either way, I hope you have as much fun listening as I had playing and sharing.
As per my usual, just had the recording software going while messing around with some leisurely guitar playing. This compilation includes some Gordon Lightfoot (Carefree Highway and Sundown), The Eagl

Not bad,,some of my fave artists. You are much better than a friend of mine who thinks he can sing, and even has the gall to perform in public. His wife is a voice teacher..She must be inwardly cringing.

You will never see me perform in public. But I do have a good time by myself, in my own element, and while I guess you could say sharing it is somewhat performing in public, it is not live, I am facing no one, and I feel more comfortable. I know a few people who can't carry a tune at all who think they are Barbara Streisand. I make no claims to be great. I just do what I do and enjoy my time doing it, and get a kick out of anyone who cares to or enjoys to listen.

Thanks for listening. I always appreciate it when people do. Like I said, I do all of this just for my own fun. And even when I record what I do I do it mainly for my family that seems to hang onto what I do. But if I can share it with others and they find some enjoyment as well...it is win win for me.
