In this post, it's two for the price of one, since both posts are real small to stand alone. Yesterday morning, it was a bit cold to go to the gym in 34-degree weather. But I bundled up for the walk and warmed up in the heated pool for a good work without water aerobics. There was a bit of snow and freezing rain with some ice on the ground. This morning, before I left to get my flu shot and then had my haircut, I went on the scale. It went back up to 110.2 (though I still need to get the battery placed and fixed, if I can find it.) So I'm still halfway to my goal, two months away until my physical with my doctor, and hope to be back to normal to wear medium-sized clothes. Other than having some french fries and ice cream for my junk food vices, my calories ranged from 2400-3000, when it mostly leaned toward the 2600-2800 range on most days. Only 3000 calories were from my writing group's lunch at Bob Evans. I told my brother this morning, and he's quite happy, since I've been eating more whenever I can to make it work. A little bit of junk food goes a long way.) As for Thanksgiving, I was supposed to have a "mini" Thanksgiving at my brother's a week from today. But I've been told it's been changed, since my SIL landed a new PT job and she has to work on that day. So I went to the store to pick up some groceries for my own Thanksgiving dinner and passed on doing a frozen food dinner. I grabbed Butterball deli-style rotisserie turkey breast for my turkey, turkey gravy, green bean casserole items (French onions, green beans, cream of mushroom soup), a can of small yams, small creamed corn, small cranberry sauce, a box of cornbread stuffing for stuffing cakes, a small frozen chocolate satin pie, a small carton of eggnog, a small apple cider, and cranberry flavored ginger ale. This should be good enough for two servings and maybe have leftovers two weeks from today to add on the pounds.
