There Was A Leak - Dined Out

I knew I had a leak in the roof of the old home place and I had left a bucket under the leak
I was headed to take my friend a birthday gift and a bag of greens and a bag of greens with turnips to the elderly couple down the road and the cooked and frozen greens for my 91 year old lady friend so Tony decides he will go and if there is time to look at the roof.
I already bought the stuff to fix it, I was waiting on some man to come along and fix it, none did. LOL. no seriously Tony was the one who wanted to fix it and today after he said he was getting back to life,he did.
I got the ladder out and we set it up, I tossed the stuff on the roof from the ground, he went up and I was ground control.
While he fixed the roof I cleaned out my car and then wiped it down with those antibacterial wipes. I wished I would have had a vacuum there. 
When he got finished and I put the ladder away I asked him "Chinese or fish?" he chose fish and I was glad, but nether felt like going in so I got it to go.

You two make a good team. I love it that folks accept and want greens from you. In my corner of the world, I think people would stare if I offered them wholesome food. My day has been good. My hubby and I went to town and wow did we get errands done! Groceries at two stores then bought wheat germ at the health food store and had lunch and dropped stuff off at the Goodwill and dropped books off at the library then hit a discount store for cheese on the way home. We don't usually do so much when we hit town. Mid 40s and sunny out so maybe that helped our moods.

It was 66 here today and I was so happy, no hoodie. Actually we been working together for years, when his mom/ my aunt was getting older and sick she told me I would take over running the company and showed me how to write contracts and bids.I never had a problem doing payroll, Tony did most of time and I just paid at the end of the week or job. I had always helped my dad do stuff around the house but I watched and learned how to do a lot.
This is country, most of the people I know love fresh produce, just not the younger generation.

Bob is slow starter in the morning. He got around about noon and called our mechanic. They had talked yesterday and Sid the mechanic epxect someone to bring in a repair this morning. That person was late, so it set us late. I was concerned that the van might not make it all the way there on just the battery power, but it did. Bob worked with Sid, they got it going. All this to say that this is somewhat the first in a while that Bob has actually acted like he plans to live. Good for Tony fixing that roof.

Glad Tony decided to do it. I am sure that made him feel better about himself. I would have said Chinese but I am allergic to fish.
