Santa wants to kill children? Warning to all parents.

Was just scrolling through Facebook and saw a video of this woman who was outraged with an app that was on her son's tablet. I'm not sure how old her son was but I'm thinking a young boy. He downloaded an app called Calling Santa 2018. I've seen apps like this before. Basically it's where a child will click a beloved character from a movie, cartoon etc and will have that voice talking to them as if they were speaking on the phone. I recently saw one and I believe it was characters from the movie Cars or some show I don't know ( I managed to find a link for that so feel free to have a look if you want ) but yeah that was not a child friendly app even though it says it is. I will type out what that character says if you don't feel like viewing the video. It's also in a creepy, almost demonic voice. The car voice comes on and says: "Hi kids. I'm your new friend. Happy Slabby. Whatever you want me to be called. You see, I want to play with you kiddo. Maybe we could perform some fun games together. What's this hogwash? You look afraid. Is it this knife in my whirrly tirrly hands? Making you a little nervous huh? That's alright! Because this knife is going to improve your look. When it's sticking right out of you. *manic laughter* " It gave me chills so I can't even imagine how a child would react! I'm wanting to spread this around as a way of letting parents know ( and honestly not saying you're not already doing a great job at parenting! ) that what looks innocent and child friendly, don't always seem that way. I got teary eyed listening. Not really because I was scared but sad for any child who may have heard this and been traumatised. Anyway as for this Santa one, same thing. It's an app where children think they are getting a call from Santa. Which is a cute idea....until it's actually something dark. I will type this one out too. Sorry I can not find the link to share it and I also can't make out a few words so I will just type the last sentences out that I can make out. So word for word: "I will look for you, and I will find you, and I will kill you." Those lines remind me what Liam Neeson said in Taken but that's quite irrelevant. It's the fact that some sick, twisted, morbid person has done this for children to listen to.

@JustBhem Yeah it seems a lot of people are falling for it. It makes me worry how many children have downloaded it, been scared and not told their parents about it.

This sounds scary, the kid give outs the phone number to unknown people and they can call the kid and suggest to do thing or even to have a meeting. The kid thinks it's Santa and he follow the instructions. Very dangerous.

@VivaLaDani13 I feel relieved, but I would not be surprised if some scam will start around the holidays. Too many kids use real smartphones.

@LadyDuck aw no it doesn't exactly work like that thank goodness. It's just an app. You don't really give out your personal number. It's kinda like ummmm ugh I can't think of the right name but you know those baby toy phones? Little babies push buttons and can pick up the phone and have some character talk to them? It's kinda like that but in App form.

@LadyDuck Oh I agree with you. Occasions such as Christmas seems like a good time for scammers to come out. I feel bad because in some stores, there are Christmas tress up with stars hanging off them. And the stars have children's names on them. So you buy a present for that child then put it back under the tree. I have done it a few times over the years but I always have this annoying feeling inside me that those presents aren't going where they say they are going.

The one who invented that app must be emotionally or psychologically sick.

@sunrisefan Totally agree! It honestly makes me feel angry and sick to the stomach that people do this to frighten little ones!

@VivaLaDani13 I wish there's a way to kill that app all over the net or at least Playstore or Appstore could automatically kill apps like that?

@sunrisefan I wish there was something like that. I don't understand all this technology stuff but I don't understand how something like this was just allowed to be posted for the world to see.

@MissNikki I know I was so annoyed and saddened when I saw this! I was hoping this was fake but there seems to be quite a handful of reports about apps like this. It's just disgusting!

@MissNikki Oh I hope so! I don't know how it all works but I'm guessing you can upload any app with no permission? Cause I don't know how that was even allowed to be out there for people to download in the first place.

@louievill Too much is wrong in this world nowadays. It's shocking and scary with how much that is going on. Feeling like there is no hope in trying to reverse it all.
