Happy Sunday all! Here it is 0206 am and I am just in the final countdown of my working day (well, 6 more hours, until 0800 am unfortunately) and I have spent the last fourty-five minutes perusing the Shutterfly website and phone app.
I had some photos I wanted developed, from my phone into an "in real life" photo from this past trip I had taken, and I had recently received a catalogue in the mail for Shutterfly that boasted of all these great deals they were offering.
Some of the deals included with the app, a free wall calendar, a free photo ornament, free address labels as long as you pay for shipping for those items. Just for fun, I started picking out a few of these things, until I saw that paying the "shipping only" prices were pretty outrageous. I get when photographs themselves have higher shipping prices, because they are heavier, but the prices for a 12 page calendar and address labels were pretty outrageous so I ended up skipping these "deals". I truly think Shutterfly must get quite a bit of revenue off of these "shipping only" prices.
I do like the photo-related gifts, though, and so I think I will check Walgreens prices for calendars and maybe a coffee mug or something similar.
Have you ever used Shutterfly? What is your review? Or have you stumbled across any fake-deals lately? (Deals that are not truly 'deals')?
And also, where do you normally develop your photos through?
