Stepping Into The Unknown

I know many people who would totally freak out if they had to step out of their comfort zone to step out into an unknown situation. For me I love that adrenaline rush of what will happen, I prepare myself for the best but know it could go the opposite way. This morning I got a small one, not knowing if I could make this happen and repair the damage that was unknowingly done, still he makes me wait, like the puppet master holding all the strings, the one in control. However I am not so easy to control with those strings, the waiting game has began, Playing the control game. On another project, I do not like to be rushed although I feel the need to get it done fast. I have to get in the zone and then work it, when I get in the zone I am a workaholic. The problem is I feel one thing is more urgent than what my help thinks should be done first, I will not wave their thoughts on this away and I will consider how that is more important than what I want to do first. So good morning to all! Have an awesome Monday.

I think that is good for younger ones but as we get older we may prefer the familiar, the comfortable and the known to the unknown. Maybe it's just me?

@andriaperry Yes, but as we get older we have to do that with caution.

@andriaperry - no floor? or is it the door to hell ? tell them its old school mexican ranch style flooring. instead of sweeping the floor, you lightly water it for dust control.

But you cannot have lights if there is not floor to stand on.

@Plethos If I could I would be rich, I could build no floor shacks and rent them. I have to replace a floor before I can have an over head light put in, before I do either I have to make sure the roof does not leak. Big sigh.... the life of a landlady.

Yes I know. That is why we each chose a trade in life, we know our limits.

At times I like my comfort zone, however I do seem to have the need to constantly expand its boundaries.

At my age I don't embrace change as easily as I did when I was younger.

Sometimes you don't realise you have a 'comfort zone' till circumstances force you out of it.

That is right, I am no longer comfortable around some people that I used to love to be around.
