10-years ago transgender was not in the news, let alone gossip columns, You saw one or two 'odd looking ' people around your town and that was it. Men that dressed up as women were always a rather comical thing to see and known to hang around charity shops. But today they are all over the news and it seems Caitlyn Jenner is the reason why, transgender almost a fashion now. In the U.K. we are seeing an increasing number of children unsure about their gender and sexuality and no doubt influenced by social media and TV. In one school alone 17 kids were in transition to another sex . A malicious source claimed the number was so high because subversive people were trying to persuade autistic kids in the school they may be the wrong sex. In recent research 10% of people transitioning were believed to be on the spectrum somewhere. I always thought the stigma of being gay is the biggest driver for people to change sex. Monroe Bergdoff is a prominent transgender celebrity in England and transitioned from man to women in her/ his teens. She claims to be pan sexual ( they date anything) but only dates women now. Why would a man want to change to a woman to date women? I suspect its to remove the stigma of being gay. In fact if you change your gender, how do you go about classifying your sexuality? Is Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner now gay? Was three times married man always gay? Jenner, now 68, is now dating a 22-year-old transgender person who changed from man to woman??? It is very confusing.
