Well the outside part of coconut fruit is a husk to protect itself from any harm like falling or slashing. And the next level is the coconut shell, the hardest part of the fruit, it is the shield. Then the next layer is the white flesh or the food. And when there's food, there must be a water, or the coconut water. Its a seed because the new bud sprouted from here. When its bigger enough then you can planted it already. That's why its a seed.
