3 Crazy Concepts that people still believe in the year 2018

Here are three crazy concepts that no rational being alive would even believe, yet people are out there, who still think this way. Below are those 3 crazy concepts: Concept one: Flat Earth Concept two: Man never went to the moon Concept three: Big foot is real 1. Flat Earth is a crazy concept, that people who only look at the earth on a wall map, who see it on a flat surface, think that you will fall off the edge if you go all the way across the planet. Why do you think there are people who think that? 2. Man never went to the moon is a crazy concept because it assumes that we never achieved that level of technology. Then if that is true, a basket ball will not bounce or roll because a basket ball is full of compressed air. You night think that a basket ball should float like a hot air balloon, right? 3. Big foot is real, not just a legend or a myth, is a crazy concept, but yet, people are reading about it and some people think that that giant ape-like man walks the earth and hangs out somewhere in a forest way up north. Why do people try so hard to go with these and other crazy concepts and not the things that actually are real like: The internal combustion engine Electromagnetic energy Pulleys allowing you to lift things that weigh too much without using them. Plants that use sunlight to live using photosynthesis. And so on. These are things that are real and I wonder why people would rather spend their time speculating crazy concepts instead.

I think bigfoot is real. He keeps checking on us and seeing that we have not got any smarter so he goes back into hiding.

@lookatdesktop Why thank you dear sir. The loch ness monster is related to bigfoot. He does the same thing. That is why a few people have photos but he can never be found when looking for him.

I wonder why the people who claim that the earth is flat don't go to the edge to look down into the void. It must be a fascinating view. I wouldn't miss them , if they fell off the edge!

@MALUSE Yeah but Antarctica is a wall of ice that surrounds the edge of the world and the government controls who goes there so we don’t learn the truth.

You said "rational being"? Is everyone you have met rational?

@lookatdesktop People are people and they come in many varieties. That's what makes life interesting? One day, we will be able to send all sceptics on a trip and hopefully they will believe then that the earth is round.

@1hopefulman , I accept the fact that everyone is different and understand fully what you have just said. People are people and they do come in all forms. And life is interesting with all that in the mix.

That has to be a rhetorical question. So far have seen none 100% rational. Human, yes, emotional, yes, but rational, of course not.

How sure are you #3 isn't real? One theory I like is.... What if Bigfoot was just an alien paying a visit to earth? If aliens are real, how do we know what they do or don't look like? Stories of creatures similar to Bigfoot exist in a ton of countries. Why?

I guess people like a good mystery and especially a good unsolved mystery but still, it is strange to think about.

Yeah, the flat earth thing always makes me laugh . These people will never understand. And there are some items on the moon left there by astronauts, it's easy to check with a laser. But I'm not going to get into that now .

Yep. There are ways to prove things right and prove things wrong. But somethings like bigfoot, may never be disproven or proven. LOL

@Kasjnak And this applies to other things as well. People either strongly believe in something and even if you prove them wrong, just do not admit it at least, not to themselves.

@lookatdesktop well, when people want to believe something, it's really hard to prove them wrong. They just won't admit it .

There was this guy on YouTube who tried to prove that earth is flat by claiming airplanes wouldn't have to fly if it were round. They would just need to ascend and float on spot while the earth rotates to the desired location and then come down again. He didn't sound sarcastic by the way. Yes it's sad that people prefer ridiculous theories over actual science.

It is like trying to figure out how to bend space-time so you can get across the universe in a few seconds but that defeats the purpose of light speed spacecraft. It is just as strange a concept as the method you just mentioned.

To each his own however I believe on the third one which is the big foot. It did exist because there are evidence and it is not necessarily a monster at all. Who knows it is an animal?

Bigfoot is a human in theory, most likely to be considered as it goes, is a huge harry person who mostly resembles a prehistoric cave person of sorts. I would say that is most likely the considered opinion.
