There was power outage for 12 hours today. That is why I was not able to be here to interact with you, my fellow myLotters.
This phone is also drained to the bone at 17%. I have to recharge it overnight so after I post this discussion, I will switch my phone off.

You can also opt to put it on airplane mode so that it will charge faster, it would prevent unneeded apps from running in the background even when the phone is turned off. Good night.

@rsa101 it is a scheduled maintenance power interruption mostly after 6 weeks, so we have to wait for that day again

there is anothr announcement on December 4 but luckily we are spared of the maintenance brownout for 12 hours.

@JustBhem no, hija. happily there is no power interruption now. some towns are also scheduled for brownouts. it is a rotating brownout.

i believe constant power interruptions can destroy appliances that is why once power is back, we wait for a couple of minutes before we switch on our electronic appliances

How annoying, do the power outages happen often. We only lose power when we have a major storm.

yes it was so frustrating. when i had my duty with my students, i noticed 2 students who had crumpled aprons. i asked them if they did not iron their uniform. they replied,"it is brownout, mam". i then told them they should iron their clothes after they wash it. brownouts happen anytime.

That's long hours of no electricity in your place. Seems like your electric coop have not yet fully recovered from the typhoons.

it is by the NGCP and not our local electric cooperative. problem too is, if there are unscheduled brownouts, they only post the reason after they have done the work already

yes it is. the national electric power agency announced that 2 provinces including ours, had power interruption for 12 hours.
