What kind of pie/s do you think to have or eat on Thanksgiving? Did you plan a special one this year and what kind? I’ve made an apple pie last night that is gluten free for my parents house. I need to bring it over tomorrow so I don’t have to on Thursday. I’m also making tomorrow a crustless pumpkin pies to bring with us to all do the house. This is also gluten free since their is no crust.

Yes, my 3.5 year has a wheat germ, nut and sesame seed allergies and he is still possible has ceilac. Mybhsuannd sister has ceilac, and a milk allergy and my 2 year neice has a soy allergy and gluten allergy. Then my sister in law is in biting her cousin and her cousins husband has ceilac as well. So gluten free options are a must.

@amadeo allergies can be genetic between parent and child not always but for the most part it is especially good alelrgies. My oldest has a walnut allergy and amoxicillin allergy. Her father has amoxicillin allergy too. Medical allergies are also genetic.

We always have one or the other, and sometimes both. Pumpkin or Pecan Pies. Once we even made one that was a mix, it was quite good. If I had to choose a favorite probably Pecan :)

I'm going to make a chocolate pie for Thanksgiving since it's only four of us, but for Christmas, I'll do the usual desserts.

We usually have the traditional pumpkin, apple and coconut custard. Not all the grandkids like pie so I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies
