Don't Eat Romaine Lettuce

I know that many of you are working on your Thanksgiving menus. The CDC has just come out with a new warning not to eat any kind or brand of Romaine Lettuce. This is a new warning today.
It is loaded with eColi which makes people quite ill and sometimes kills.

What if you really wash it?? I'm in Canada but we've had outbreaks from different lettuces as well.

@Marty1 Oh yes I bet--food poisoning is very brutal on the body. You often need antibiotics!

I just ate some romaine lettuce tonight but hopefully it was not contaminated as I don't know the origin of the lettuce.

@akalinus I did have a bit of a sore stomach and the problem is also in Canada. I will not be eating anymore till we are told that we can again. Most of our romaine comes from the US.

@akalinus Salads are meant to be eaten fresh and that is why I never eat at parties.

Our store already removed all it.. its sad because my tortoise & I loves romaine.. LOL
just have to revert to basic ice burg, leafy green its all good..
