Sad that I won't get to spend the day with my husband until Dec 9th

I was looking forward to spending the day with my husband and perhaps doing something fun together, going somewhere... but he decided to go into work even though it is the Sunday he is off. He works every other Sunday. I am not happy about that of course.
And now because of my temp job, I will be working on the day when he is off, so the next time I will get to spend the day with him will be probably Dec. 9th. That's like two weeks away. That's so unfair! And it's making me very sad.
I hate that he works in car sales! Why can't he have a normal job?

@lovebuglena I'm sorry. Things don't sound that great. I hope he takes time off when you have some.

@akalinus I wish he worked at a different job where the salary is not commission based and he is off on weekends and doesn't need to do a lot of overtime.

I hope he is not planning to go in every day until the end of the year when he is supposed to be off. That would be insane.

@NJChicaa They have a base salary but where he works it's so low it's a joke. So, it's commission mainly that you have to rely on. And going in to work on day off doesn't guarantee you will sell a car. You can spend the whole day there and earn nothing. And that sucks. A day off wasted and no money made. And it's happened to him more than once.

@lovebuglena Car salesmen get paid on commission don't they? Maybe he is trying to earn extra $$.

why do you not ask him.Car salesman they have regular hours here.If things are unfair.Well you need to do something.

His schedule and hours are terrible. Lot of overtime hours for which car salesman don't get compensated.
