Happiness beyond compare when seeds germinate

I am back with seasonal flowers and have sown seeds. Some have already germinated. I have transplanted a few seedlings and waiting for more to get ready for transplanting. A gardener's joy is beyond compare when seeds behave and germinate without much ado. It is happening here. Wish I could show you my happiness. The picture is of seedlings of zinnias I had sown a couple of years ago.

@DianneN Most seasonal flowers need transplanting.

@allknowing I prefer those, but this year, I had to start nasturtiums from seed. They must be sown directly into a container or ground, because they do not transplant well. I planted them for color and for the fact that the deer do not eat them.

As I have mentioned in my discussion those zinnia seedlings I had sown a couple of years ago. I have sown plenty this time and many have started germinating and have also transplanted some. There were about 20 types of flowering seeds. Keeping my fingers crossed.

It sure is/ The only thing is we should know which seed needs how many days to show up but here I am watching them just a few hours after I have sown them (lol)

@allknowing A gardener needs more patience than that! My mother waited 8 years for her hoya plant to have flowers but after the first time it flowered every year.

Oh that’s true. When I was young I remember in my grand dads house he loves planting too and I just watch him and it makes me happy seeing plants start as seedling.

Those seedlings that you see in the image are old ones. I have sown around 20 different species this time and hoping to see results.

Yes, when the seeds germinate and soon give us what we are waiting for, it is great fun.
