I saw something moving and was petrified

Was busy in the kitchen this morning and I saw a blackish thing moving. I was petrified and took courage to go an inch further to check on it. This cat that does not meow had decided to get into the kitchen. I only saw its tail. What a relief that was. Yes. I thought it was a snake but no snake has hair on it. Right? This cat that does not meow has become gutsy and has now started getting inside. Preiti does not mind.

When I just saw the tail and not the cat and the tail was moving that was my first reaction.

It is a good thing it didn't happen here. I don't think that our dog would welcome an unexpected visitor. He would probably chase the poor cat out of the door

Glad it was the cat. But a snake would have made a more exciting post

Wow.. I am surprised that Preti doesn't mind.. Our Spark hates any meows around.. .. he just takes off after them.. He is possessive of his territory.

Preiti is unique. Initially she chases them but when the cats do not bother about her chase and do not run that is the time they 'shake hands' (lol)

The two young cats of my neighbor now come inside every time I open the door. I do not mind, but I do not let them jump on things. The third cats does not come inside, she waits on the doormat and meows a lot.

This one is the only cat that has started coming in. Lolly II used to come and make himself comfortable.

@allknowing I remember that Lolly II came inside. Until now only Willy came inside, now those two kittens seem to appreciate to visit the ground floor of our home.

A snake in the kitchen would not be a good thing. Does Preiti bark or bite at snakes?
