Are you adventurous with food?

My answer is yes. Though I’m not totally like Andrew Zimmerm, who treats everything he sees, edible. Well, at least I am open to new tastes.
For example, when I go to a restaurant, i will make sure that the food I will order is not something i prepare everyday.
I like exotic foods, fruits and so on. My husband is just the opposite of me. He doesn’t eat goat’s meat and he cannot explain why. He hasnt tried it yet and so i trick him one time. I serve him a goat’s meat. He eats it and likes it. When he asks me what is it, i say, it’s a beef. You know what, he eats it all.
The following morning, i tell him the truth. He doesnt know how to react. He wants to puke but cannot do it. He is mad. But cannot react. What about you? Are you adventurous with food?

Yes I`m the same as you when it comes to food at the restaurants. I like something that I can`t make myself

I am pretty adventurous with food. I love to eat new kinds of food and when I visit a restaurant I often pick something I haven't eaten before. Sometimes I get positively surprised and sometimes I don't like the food at all, but it is still nice to try it once.

@Janet357 Yes, it is good to try it once. Some of the food I ate when I was in Asia was too spicy for me. I like spicy food, but some of the dishes were so spicy that I almost couldn't eat them. I also tried some really delicious dishes that I had never eaten before

I'm like you I think. I like my stand by's and trying new recipes.... but when I go out I try to order things that I cannot easily make at home.
Aw hubby should realize that he liked the flavor, so it's alright. :-)

Yes, before i was but as i age i am not that adventurous because my tummy is not that cooperative this past few years. Lol

I like to be fairly adventurous. I'll try anything, we tried veal a few weeks ago and it didn't settle with me very well but I'm glad I tried it.

I like to try new foods at home not so much when I go out to eat because I can’t switch it if I don’t like it haha I rather enjoy something I know I will when eating out

I am kind of adventurous. I like trying out new food/cuisines. But I can’t eat exotic food like crocodiles, snakes, lol

I can also say YES...
I like exotic foods though not all of them. I'm also adventurous in a sense that I cook not following the standard in the recipe book but sometimes making some experiment in the recipes.
