Thanksgiving break is over

Saturday when we could have slept in both my son and I were up bright and early after my boyfriend left to go hunting. That just meant I was able to get more accomplished so it wasn’t bad. I received the a $5 Amazon e-gift card from Pinecone Research. My son checked the mail for me and I was surprised and happy to see a Christmas card from @Courtlynn I have it displayed on my shelf in our dining room. It was the perfect timing because a few hours before that my daughter asked me if we could decorate for Christmas. The perfect card for an animal loving family. Up until about a month ago I owned a car, dog and bird. I spent time since making her a card (the first handmade card I’ve ever made so it’s not the best but I tried and it’s the thought that counts. It goes in the mail tomorrow. My little 2 year old niece and 6 year old nephew came over. I had my daughter prepare a canvas for me and using paint on the kids hands she turned the hand prints into cardinals. I got the idea off Pinterest. I tried to get my niece to sit and watch an animated movie called “Leap” but she was quite active. Both she and my dog really enjoyed running around the house together. My son and nephew spent a few hours playing video games. My boyfriend came back around 8:30 and spent the night. He had hiked about 5 miles through the woods hunting with his dogs so I gave him a massage as his legs and back were quite sore. Last night I tried a new recipes for Roasted garlic Parmesan cauliflower. I left out the pepper because I don’t like the spicyness of it. It turned out quite bland. I had the batter and breading leftover use I made it again with broccoli. My oven is old and continues to get hotter and hotter so I have to turn it down a lot while it’s cooking. I forgot to do that so they burned. I ate all but a few pieces gagging it down literally heaving a few times with nothing coming up fortunately. I didn’t want to waste the food but man I can’t stomach burnt food. I received $30 to PayPal from SurveyU for an intimate apparel survey I took a week or so ago. Today I spent most the morning doing Cyber Monday shopping. I got my son a bike, a BB gun, and portable target. Since I had free shipping on Walmart and no vehicle at the moment I bought myself a toaster and two things of dish soap to be delivered along with the gifts. I played 3 rounds of swagIQ today. I won 6 points but my son accidentally bumped my hand so I clicked to use 23 points to rejoin when I did not want to do that. Today was a great mail day. I received a bunch of the things I ordered Thursday and Friday. I also got a check from SurveySavvy for $11.50! All the Christmas decorations were done being put up yesterday and today I got the two trees up. All we need to do is add the ornaments tomorrow. I’m not sure if everywhere in the U.S. had no school today but both my kids did. In Pennsylvania it’s a huge hunting day I believe it is the first day of doe season. I know my boyfriend and his son went hunting today but I didn’t ask how it went.
