End of the Day

I spent more time here than I did writing today. I did get a few hundred words written, but the flow was slow. I posed the situation to the person who picks me up for prayer on Monday nights, and he had some suggestions to jumpstart this second book and get it off the ground. So, I will be writing tomorrow, and hopefully, make up some ground.
Right now I'm within 24 hours of having notifications finished. I'll try to catch up tomorrow.
The movie for today was Frozen as I work through my Christmas movies.
I didn't make it to the pool this morning. I tried to watch the Packers game last night but ended up falling asleep in the recliner. From the score of the game, I was better off asleep. I will be back in the pool tomorrow.
I also got Christmas cards in the mail today for many myLot friends who received them from me in the past two years. If you want a card and I don't have your address, please PM me your address and I'll add you to my list. I got my first Christmas card from a fellow myLotter yesterday that just made my day.
The snow I was hoping for today, didn't happen. When I checked the forecast, they took the snowflakes off the map for the rest of this week. 
I guess that means there are a lot of people praying against the snow. I know I'm in the minority for loving winter and snow. Oh well. I'd wear my snowflake necklace, but I did that Saturday and the temp went up to 50 F.
Okay, it's late. I don't want to oversleep tomorrow, so I need to get to bed now. I hope you all had/are having a good day. Did you do anything special today or was it the same ole, same ole kind of day? Thanks for reading.

I hope things worked well for you today. Here it was snowing and I went swimming and spent some time in the sauna where it was nice and warm.

You didn't get any snow at all? We got at least a few inches but if it's any consolation to you most of it's turned to ice now since it was so wet.
I did a bit of shoveling but my sinuses were pretty bad so I didn't get all the sidewalks done and now we'll be walking on ice until the temps go up slightly this weekend.
I'm sure you have plenty of snow in store for you in the next few months, Valerie.
If you're snug for words for the week you can count your mylot words toward nano too as a rebel.

@just4him so does that mean you didn't end up getting much snow after all? We are in a shallow valley so we miss a lot of the forecast but unfortunately not enough of them.

@MarshaMusselman We didn't get a lot. Looking out the window, it's mostly melted on my side of the street, though the other side still has a good amount.

I would need to put all my posts from the last month into a single Word document to find out what that word total would be. I'll finish with 60k. It's one of my lowest monthly challenges. I usually top out at 80K+.
I've been watching the white stuff head across northern Wisconsin into Upper Michigan. Either that or it's south. If there is snow in central Wisconsin coming across from Minnesota, it peters out before it gets to Green Bay, leaving us high and dry.

Yesterday I got one of the packages from Black Friday shopping. It was a set of bowls for Lily. She likes her new bowls. Also two packages were put in the mailbox yesterday. I got them today. One package fits which is great. Yesterday I read some. I also watched Elizabeth: The Golden Age and an episode of Manifest. I hope to get to read alot.

Oh wow, you are even earlier than me with Christmas cards. I am decorating for Christmas today, and hope to come across my cards. If no, I will buy some, I found some cute ones the other day. :-D
You can keep the snow over there, please. lol
