Adopt A Soldier

I adopted a soldier and I've already sent him an email because in the info email I got from the site, it says that he needs running shoes and socks. He would love eggnog as well but I don't know if I can actually mail that to him. I'll have to look into that.
Also in the email I sent him, I asked him what his favorite snacks and things were so that I can send him lots of goodies.
I'm so excited. I signed up a month ago and they didn't give match me with a soldier until today.

I am super excited. Got an email from him this morning and he mentioned a few things he would like such as new running shoes and socks. Loves beef jerky and eggnog as well but said he felt bad for asking because he doesn't want to feel like a burden.
My response was that he's not a burden and if I didn't want to help then I wouldn't have signed up for the site. Just not in those exact words of course lol.
Everything he asked for is definitely doable except for maybe the eggnog. I'm not sure I could send already made eggnog in the mail because it's a liquid and could potentially spoil before it got to him so I'm going to look for dry eggnog mix that he can use water or milk to mix it with.
