If you look back at your life what do you miss the most..
I miss my mom.. she used to call me everyday after her lunch.. for a couple of years I had trouble adjusting to not receiving her phone calls..
Our pet Choco passed on .. three years ago.. I miss her so much.. I constantly think of her.. she was with me at a very difficult period in my life and she would sit patiently by my bed as if she understood what I was going through..
I miss the town where I grew up, where so many happy memories were made.. I went there last summer and didn't connect with it.. everything has changed about the place.
I miss the old library where I used to spend summer afternoons reading books.
what do you miss..

Oh there are so many that I miss in the past. I missed my childhood where life was simpler and no fuss about all the things I am facing right now. Those were the time that I can be myself and play like time was not an issue. I remember that when I was child I had lots of it and I could not manage the excess times I have in there it was boring back then but now I seem to miss them a lot that now seems like 24 hours is not enough to finish everything.

That would be a huge list but what I miss the most is my youth and you know what one can do in one's youth where a senior cannot

@sofssu The things I did when I was young is mind boggling. I did a to and fro 300 steps in New Zealand. Walked miles and miles sight seeing. You know what package tours are Everything is rush, rush rush I did all that.
I hate to see my waist now (lol). I had a perfect set of teeth - neighbour's envy owner's pride (lol) How I enjoyed decking myself from top to toe - All this is history now
Having said all this I have aged gracefully and with dignity And incidentally Grace is my name (lol)

@allknowing Nice knowing you Grace. I understand the body doesn't follow where the mind goes..
Maybe because I have been through some tough phases in my life I am just happy to be alive healthy and 'walking'.. I was told I wont be able to walk about ten years ago.. just faith and determination has kept me going..
My body doesn't do what i want it to do.. so I adjust with it.. LOL and about the waist the less said the better

I missed the days with my friends in the bands when we play together and dreaming like performing in the stage.

We are too old for that dream anymore, besides we are all fathers now and our priorities have changed already.

@sofssu I miss a lot. It depresses me on a regular basis... so I just chose to not mention it now.

@Dyvette16 I guess your grandpa was the glue that kept your family together.. I am sure you miss him and the closeness your family once had.. I hope you can become the glue some day.

I miss some things but I do not dwell on them. I enjoy good memories and I am glad I always have them to cherish.

I miiiissssss my father who passed away last July.
Am grieving still .I understand about those phone calls not coming anymore...The festivities that go by without him..
I can connect about the old home town.
We need to get by though and I know the best way is to do so as cheerfully as we can.

@responsiveme I am so sorry for your loss.. I know how it feels it takes time, but eventually we do find our peace.
I like the last part of your comment.. we really need to move on and move on with the right attitude. Life is all about moving on.. and finding happiness in what we do.
