How Does MyLot Get Paid?

So, I suppose, for no particular reason, I am just curious. Probably because I was sitting here thinking how am I supposed to get paid if I can't think of anything right now to write about. I know, I know... I do have some notifications I can get to, and certainly there are posts I have not read, and I could get paid and make my contribution to the site and my fellow MyLotters by paying attention to those. In any event, so we all know it's the ads. But does MyLot get paid for the clicks or just the displays? Probably both I would think. I suppose my next question would be, "Do you ever click on the ads?" For me IF I do and I rarely do, it has to be something that I am truly interested in of course.
