Yesterday I received a $15 Amazon e-giftcard from Swagbucks!
For dinner I made a new recipe for Sweet Potato Cornbread. I’ve never ever had any cornbread I liked but my daughter and I loved this!
I finally got all the decorations up on our trees and made the decoration you see in the photo with some leftover ornaments.
Today my son and I received some upsetting news that his Science teacher will no longer be teaching at this cyber school any longer. This is the third teacher recently that quit and I am worried. We really liked the Science teacher so we are sad to see him go!
When the delivery man showed up with my online purchases today my dog and I were outside. He needed a signature so I had to walk past him to put the dog in the house. She started screaming like she was being murdered and pooped all over me and my dining room floor.
I was so embarrassed not having any makeup on, my hair a mess and smelling like that to sign for the package. To make it worse I know the delivery man as he is really good friends with my boyfriend. I think from now on until all my packages have arrived I will at least throw some mascara on daily. I usually don’t wear it unless I leave the house.
On Swagbucks we saw that it was national French toast day which was cool because my son had just eaten that for lunch about an hour before I read what day it was!
This lead to him looking up if there is a
Nerf gun day and there is on May 19. He wants to have a get together and have a big nerf war. I love the idea and will be more then happy to put on a party like that. With him being such a nervous kid who doesn’t like to socialize I jump on anything he wants to do when it comes to being around others!
Since there was no school Monday and a two hour delay today the days feel like they are flying by. The weekend will be soon again and hopefully my boyfriend can put the new bumper on my van for me.

@JudyEv this dog is the biggest scaredy cat I have ever seen. I brought a package in the house a few days ago. It was a large box and she was shaking like crazy over it.
Anything new she acts that way over. With the bumper being off my van and sitting on the ground in front of it she was terrified of it when she saw it laying there

I hope your boyfriend gets your bumper put on this weekend. Sorry to hear the science teacher will no longer be teaching I hope another one is found soon. I hate when deliveries show up and I look a mess it don’t happen often which I am very grateful for. Congrats on your amazon from swagbucks I am getting closer to another cashout at Swagbucks and I can’t wait.

@Tina30219 I did pretty well stocking up on food and other groceries so I don't have to go out. Tuesday I have a dentist appointment an hour away so I need a vehicle to get there. The bumper is supposed to arrive today according to the tracking number. I put mascara on today in case I have to sign for anything. Other then that I don't feel like any more makeup on when I might not see anyone.

@Tina30219 I used to save my perfume only for when I go out. I have so many though that about 6 months ago I decided to wear it daily no matter if I go out or not. I will never use this amount of perfume up. Most all of them were gifts.

@shaggin I am not much of a makeup person foundation lipstick or gloss and mascara and can’t forget a spritz of cologne. I hope your bumper comes today and it gets fixed this weekend.

@maezee I saw her scream that way one other time when I walked her in town and two teens walked past us. She is a very nervous dog. She has been like this since we brought her home. I wonder if she was hurt as a puppy before we got her. She is so scared of my father in law when he comes in the house every few months that she poops then as well. It took her about 9 months to be okay with my 15 year old nephew coming over to visit.

@sallypup they said she was 8 weeks when we got her but when I asked her birthday to add it to my calendar she was only 7 weeks then when we got her. I feel really bad for her being so scared. We think she is the greatest dog ever though so at least whatever happened to her in those short weeks before she got her she wound up in the end at a very loving home where we all adore her.

@sallypup I have had so many sites stop paying or disappear overnight I took @sharon6345 advice about 6 months ago and started cashing in for rewards as soon as I am able. Swagbucks I cash out usually every $5 I reach. Mypoints every $15. With all the online shopping I have done and it being my yearly anniversary there I got double points at mypoints so I have earned about 2000 points.

I was surprised to hear your dog is so nervous. I hope he /she gets over that soon. Today is Monday and I look forward to getting back to the Y. I am never embarrassed not having any makeup on, I rarely put it on and my hair has a life of its own and often is standing up on my head, that never bothers me....but then you have to understand I'm old...

@PainsOnSlate she is 13 months now and her fears haven't decreased any unfortunately. After about 9 months she finally is okay with my 15 year old nephew coming to our house once a week or less. I feel bad for her having such fears. She has been this way since we got her and I wonder if she was hurt by someone before we got her.
When you were younger did you wear makeup and worry about your hair? The older I get the less I care about my hair but I still have to have makeup on when I leave the house.

@PainsOnSlate my hair is very long. It just trimmed about an inch off yesterday when I noticed it wasn't even. It's about to my waist.

@shaggin I rarely use makeup, I did when I was younger , and my hair is very short (pixie) and I get it cut usually about every other month or more.

@snowy22315 just seems to be more teacher leaving this year where we have never experienced it the other two years he has been doing cyber school. I assume it doesn't pay as well and maybe the teachers get better teaching jobs in a public school.

@allknowing she has been terrified like this since we got her. She is scared of everything especially people she doesn't know. It took her 9 months to get used to my 15 year old nephew coming over once every few weeks to visit.

@sofssu A great teacher can make a big difference to a kid so I am really bummed about this teacher leaving. I didn't care for the other teacher who left last month so I was glad she left and we got one we like now. My daughters friend cried yesterday hearing the teacher is leaving

@LadyDuck my dog has always been really nervous since we got her. She is terrified of people she doesn't know. Anything new scares her though if you read down what I wrote to JudyEv. If she had been inside when he came she would have just barked and ran into the other room but when outside we had to walk past him to get inside and that was to close for comfort I guess. She screamed like we were killing her which is what happened one other time we walked past a couple of teens we didn't know when I took her for a walk.

I hope the Cyber school finds someone even better for a replacement. I think women notice when other women do m aren't wearing makeup more the more than men will. Now it's we go outside without checking out hair then anyone could take note.
The problem is who might we see unexpectedly even without leaving home?

@MarshaMusselman I have worn makeup since I was 12 and I am 35 now. I look very plain and different without makeup then I do with it. I absolutely hate being caught without it. I am very insecure about how I look and wearing makeup makes me feel more comfortable. I feel like anyone who knows me will be pretty shocked to see how I look without it.

@shaggin Then, in that case, you may want to put your makeup on as soon as you finish in the bathroom each morning, that way if you get stuck outside for some reason or get a delivery or whatever you're not uncomfortable because of waiting.

@DianneN My son has a hard time with changes so hopefully this goes smoothly. When his other teachers left a month ago I was happy because I didn't care for her much. He said he liked her though but he has been fine with the new teacher who I love and I feel he is learning better with this teacher and understanding things more. My friends daughter cried yesterday when he told us he was leaving. He is a really nice and fun teacher he will be missed at the cyber school!

@Courtlynn He changed his mind about it not long after I wrote this post. I did not see your comment until now. Dogs are gross sometimes. Last night my son didnt want her to sleep in his bed so I closed her out of our room. She didnt want to sleep with my daughter so she slept downstairs. I woke up this morning to poop on the dining room floor. Spiteful brat sometimes!
