Good morning/afternoon or evening to all my friends here in the myLot world.
I woke up feeling great this morning and that's pretty unusual for me. Although I sleep fairly well I still drag myself out of bed every morning. Today I felt energized so I'm hoping to accomplish more today than I normally do.
Since I have this much energy I can't sit here at the computer for long periods of time like most days and regret not using the energy I have.
But, I still will find time to chat awhile and enjoy my coffee.
The morning started out with wonderful sunshine but now it looks like gray clouds are covering the sky and it just looks like a dismal winter day. At least there's no snow in the forecast.
Slowly but surely I'm making a dent in my Christmas shopping and the only one holding out on giving me ideas is my granddaughter. She keeps saying okay I'll get to it but she hasn't. I never knew anyone who didn't want a gift but I know she's got a list that's a mile long and probably trying to find something that will fit into my budget. She's the last one of the grandkids that didn't jump at the chance to send me their wish lists.
One of the things I have to do today is open the boxes from Amazon and see what's been delivered. Some things I ordered for my daughter and since she's at work today it's a perfect opportunity to wrap and hide her gifts. I love surprising her on Christmas morning with a few little things she has no clue about.
Well folks, I'm off to see what's happening here and hope everyone is having a good day.

Would you believe I didn't even have an afternoon coffee or a nap!!! OMG I can't imagine feeling like this every day...it would be miraculous.

If I was delivered a box, I couldn't leave it and write on MyLot, I would have to open it right away.

Some boxes I couldn't open because the gifts were for the people who are around. If it was something for me I would have opened it right away

I love those energetic mornings, which I seem to have every day!. My grandkids ask for cash, the little money-hungry things. We gave them wads of it when we saw them last week. They carry some of it around if they want to buy something after school or use it for big things that they want. They get plenty of gifts from their huge family. Happy wrapping!

Your grandkids are so lucky to have such great grandparents who give out wads of cash I give cash to my older grandkids as they know better than I do what they want or need.

@Marilynda1225 We are fortunate that we can do it, and are so blessed to have them in our lives. Aren't grandkids the best blessing of the all???? They make our hearts burst with love and joy.

Well it has been decent so far..See Public Service announcement. I was going to run off to the store..but I remembered I am expecting a check,,so if that comes..it will have turned out to be a good day indeed.

You have such a sweet granddaughter, trying to figure out a gift that will fit within your budget. Do you use ebates by any chance? That will help with getting cashback. I use it, and have for years. I've not done any of my shopping yet. I think I know what I am getting people, it's just getting the money to do so. I should get some next week though.
It is a bright but cold day here. The only wintry weather we've had is a little bit of ice last week.

It is nice when we can find gifts that are a surprise especially when we normally have to ask for requests first. I'm finally back home for about an hour. I'll need to be getting intro my Bible study shortly and go to that from 6-8 tonight.
I had the fastest service ever at the S.O.S. and got tags for a car within about four minutes from walking inside to out the door again.

@Marilynda1225 I was quite surprised myself. Maybe it was because it was so close to Thanksgiving or because it was snowing, slightly. Whatever the reason it was nice. Now, I will say that our SOS place isn't as large as some other cities and even when having to wait I doubt it's ever much over an hour. My normal wait time is ten to twenty minutes.

Hope you have a great day. I was looking for some ideas for Christmas for kids and I discovered that they have some nice an d creative things at the Crayola site. If your grandkids are into creativity you might check it out.

You are so early buying gifts while people here in the house seems not to know that tomorrow is december 1st already. I think they are not excited for Christmas.. Huh this boring people! No, actually Mom and Dad wraps gifts secretly always..
