Yesterday mom and I got our hair cut and colored. For mom - all over color and for me 1 stripe of indigo.
I had been wanting to do that for ages. Many years. Either didn't have the money, talked myself out of it... but yesterday was a treat from mom. She has a surgery coming up and for herself she wants easy to care for hair, and me, well, she knows that the caregiving (not even for her so much as for my dad) - will be a huge thing, and I think this is her way of encouragement.
Have I ever mentioned what a fine person she is?
Anyway, I love my purple streak and wish I would have done this sooner.
Is there anything you have been putting off ? Go do it if possible!

Looking good!
I want to cut my hair and keep the top white, cause its 90% white anyways and I want to do the rest in a rich brown. I have the stuff to get`er done, just aint took the time.

@FayeHazel - That was for an annual mountain biking charity weekend in Winter Park called the Fat Tire Classic. Every year, our team would dye our hair for it. One year, we all did the same thing and went platinum blonde. That was probably my favorite.

@FayeHazel I just wish my hair was going a nice gray. It's more like a dirty gray. Oh well. I won't dye it, so I suppose it is what it is.
