Earning Extra Cash For My Christmas Shopping....

Heyyy there, everyone. I’m a little behind on posting, so I nixed my “Mid-Week Blog” for this week. I went to Rite-Aid on Tuesday to pick up a few things, and out with a friend to Starbucks and Target (as we always exchange Christmas cards in person since we live near each other). Otherwise, things have been business as usual this week. Sooo, I’ve been earning (and saving) extra money from survey websites to put towards Christmas shopping. It works for me because I’m going to be doing a good chunk of my Christmas shopping online (mainly Amazon) this year. I have over 4,000 points on MyPoints, and my 14-year-old niece asked me for a Visa gift card this year. I talked to her about ordering a $10 Visa Gift eGift Card from MyPoints, and she’s cool with it, so I’m going to be ordering it tonight or tomorrow (as I want to give it time to process and arrive). She’s going to use it to order something online, so it works for her. I also have a cute stuffed raccoon to give her, since she liked it (and I wanted to give her something to actually open on Christmas). :) I had points left in my GlobalTestMarket account after getting it reactivated, and I was able to qualify for a few more surveys, so I ordered a $10 Amazon eGift card earlier this week. I’m just waiting for it to arrive, which should either be tomorrow or sometime next week. My sister was also able to get me enough Shopkicks (I use it on an older phone; there’s not enough room on mine at the moment) to get a $10 Amazon gift card during Black Friday weekend. I don’t think I’m gonna let it build up to $25 though, as I want to start getting the gifts I have in the cart ordered soon. So I’ll probably cash out this weekend, depending on how long it takes to receive it. I’m up to $16.20 on Survey Junkie. I would love to hit $20 over the weekend or at least Monday, otherwise I’ll have to make do with what I already have in my account. $20 is probably going to be my limit on Survey Junkie though, as I want to get these gifts ordered soon. Luckily, they’re all offered with Prime, so I get the two-day shipping. But I still can’t wait until the last minute to order them. Right now, I have about $36 to go towards a few of my Amazon orders. The way I see it, I’ll only have to pay $10 or less out of pocket for that bundle of gifts. Now, there are other gifts I’m planning to get, and those will be paid for out of pocket. I never expected to pay the whole load with survey websites, but it’s still nice to have the extra money to go towards it. :) I hope Christmas shopping -if you’re celebrating or giving gifts- has not been too stressful for you all this year.
