Do you ever get cravings? / myLot

The other night was my night to relax, grade papers, eat Tom Kha Gai (Thai soup to go), and go to bed early. But as I was driving to the Thai place, I developed a craving: Spring rolls. With a tangy sauce. I couldn't get them out of my head. I scored some, along with my Tom Kha Gai, and they were delicious. I demanded peanut sauce and cucumber sauce, along with the usual tangy sauce that comes with spring rolls. Life was good. Do ever get a craving that MUST be satisfied?

Not often and if it isn't in the house it doesn't get satisfied.

Soup is good and delicious I agree but I dont like it. Recently I had tasted hot and crispy chicken with white sauce. Trust me its too yummy.

@TheHorse Yes smells act as catalyst for those cravings and hunger pangs. Right now the house is smelling so good with aroma of chicken curry that I have made for lunch.

YES! The other night we were out with the kids . . . Hubby and I got a deep craving for glass noodle soup (I don't know the Thai name for it). I could have easily made it at home - but nah - we were already out and it was late - so we just head up a Thai place that we've never gone too before. It hit the spot!

I always do. Sometime such craving comes from a post here about that. So, once dismissal come, i hurry to the mall.to buy anf eat it.

@TheHorse I used to get more cravings before and sometimes I still get them. One day I wanted egg rolls so got some from the store. I still have some in the freezer.

Of course but ironically most often I crave for something which is not readily available. LIke right now I crave for a certain kind of pizza and before I could have it I need to travel for an hour and wait for another 30 minutes to get my order. By then my cravings would be for another food
