Putting Up a Christmas Tree! White or Green Tree?

~ It's the first day of December and I'm not so busy this day for work. My mother and I decided before to put up Chriatmas Decors at December 1st. And now is the Day!! Actually we're not yet starting.. Oh my!
~ I'm planning to have a DIY White Christmas Tree becuase I love white Christmas 
but my Mom wants the other one. She likes the Green Big Christmas Tree with a lot of Shining balls and a Big Star at the top. It's very common is it???
Guess what? She's also planning to put some red shocks in the door and candy cane. She use to that when we're kids. But I don't appreciate it now.. For me it's childish... Well, we'll see later how this "Deco Day" will turn up..

Do like I did. Put both up!!! I have my 3 foot white tree with gold and silver ornaments, and white lights.
Also I put my 3 foot green tree up with multi colored lights and ornaments :)

White trees are pretty, although I prefer the green ones. I grew up on an abandoned Christmas tree farm, so I always had those green evergreen trees around me.

I prefer a green tree. I haven't finished my decorating yet, but I plan on putting out the Christmas stockings I have for the kids, even though they're rarely filled now as they're grown, though I did put stocking stuffers in them last year for Christmas.
