Not many countries grow Jack fruit and India has a spill over there being no takers. Surprisingly though, there is a great demand for this fruit the world over and US leads there even though this artist Kliban has come out with drawings with a title "Never eat anything bigger than your head" Here at Solitaire we get bumper of this fruit most of which goes to the compost pit. Wish I had a way to export it. The latest trend is to make ice cream there being a heavy demand for this delectable dish. Will attempt doing it this year While I have no takers I am told this costs a bomb in other countries
Does its growing popularity as a plant-based meat substitute have consumers reaching for the wrong kind?

Just yesterday someone was remarking that quantities of young fruit are canned and exported. Seems immense health benefits

We do have that too in my country and they are in demand in here. It’s such a waste if the fruit goes to waste in your place maybe if you could export that would be better for your country.

It is not imported here, I only saw a jackfruit once in an Asian store in Paris. I suppose I should stop eating watermelon. I will buy very small ones.

My strong advice is to go for that which is peeled and ready You will never be able to handle that cumbersome job of cutting the fruit Here have some

@allknowing Unfortunately I cannot read the article, the Washington Post blocked the access to their site to the EU countries and they do not realize that Switzerland is not part of EU.

Hmm. That might exclude meat for me if I took that stance.
