When there is no room for an extra toilet.

I thought I would show you this ingenious idea found in the very tiny beach hut we stayed in at the theme park in the Summer. It sort of worked. If you despaired of a downstairs loo, due to space, this may be the answer for you!

That's different. People come up with some ingenious plans sometimes.

The beach hut we were in was tiny and had all sorts of space saving ideas. I felt it would be good to build these for the homeless as you could live in them for a while easily.

@Jackalyn Somewhere I think they were building tiny huts for the homeless somewhere but I can't remember much about it now.

I have seen that this is often used in public toilets, to recycle water.

I never saw a toilet like this before. Interesting.

@Jackalyn I have seen a documentary showing this. The sink fills the container that will be used to flush the toilet.

@jackalyn That’s perfect, so long as you’re able to reach over the potty to wash your hands - for some it might be a challenge. However you could sit backwards on the pot to get at the tap.

Yes, for some it might present physical challenges. I would use the idea in the downstairs cloakroom of a very small house.

We would need to put down the seat cover while washing our mouth. But space saving for sure
