So Inexpensive, But So Cute

Don't mind the placement or the cords... But we found this reindeer decoration for Christmas at the local craft fair and thought it was pretty unique. Not only that, but we only paid $20 for it. I thought that was cheap considering this is homemade, and someone took great care and time to make this... And even an inflatable decoration which is mass produced is going to cost you at least $30. We just plugged it in to see how it looked and later will find a better place to display it and hide the cords. But I thought this was pretty neat as a craft item, and hardly any money at all. I still can't believe we only paid $20 for it. BTW. I said the word cute. Did someone secretly cut my manhood off? Ugh.

It is adorable just one question should the light on the nose be red? You know it could be Rudolph.

It actually is red. The picture, for whatever reason, made it look a pinkish purple color.

I thought it was a GREAT price. There ARE times when I think some of this sort of thing is way overpriced. But this was on the mark in more ways than one.

Normally I am not one for cute. Okay, MAYBE I'm okay with cute. I am probably more of a softy than I would ever admit.

It does feel good to support the little guy from time to time. It makes this piece particularly special...and probably a bit unique as well.

Bless you for purchasing from a local artist. The money probably made a difference to them, rather than to a big box store, and you have something home made. As an artist, it does feel good to know that people are out there, enjoying my items (I do jewelry) in addition to the extra $. It is cool!

A lot of personal work and effort goes into these things, and a lot of heart. One thing even a lot of crafters suffer from is people looking at what they have made, only to leave it behind, go home, and make it themselves. I'd rather just support the artist or crafter.

I'll just pretend a female family member came in and wrote "cute" in and it wasn't you at all that said it. There's a little craft shop not too far from me called The Cricket's Nest. I have not been to it since I was a little girl, it's across the street from the elementary school I went to. I noticed via facebook that they have some sort of event going on, it might have already happened. I thought about attending but then I remembered how expensive everything was at that place back then and I assume that it hasn't much changed. $20.00 is a steal for a handmade item.

I was so upset, our town's big holiday arts and crafts festival was last weekend, which was unusual being right after Thanksgiving. I wasn't even paying attention and ended up missing the whole event. I always find great stocking stuffers and holiday gifts at the crafts fair, so now I'll have to come up with a plan B. And you did say the word cute. That means you are in danger of losing your man card You'll have to figure out a way to redeem yourself.

I don't do craft-sy stuff but it is pretty cute. Good for you for supporting a local business.

I was happy to hear a man admit, that something is 'cute!' Yes, this reindeer is definitely a good buy, at $20 and you will have it for many Christmas's to display and enjoy

That is really cute and the fact that it is homemade is great. I like to buy crafts that people make.
