We made the first Christmas trees of the season last night!

My child laborer and I went to the Christmas tree place and scored some disks and sprigs yesterday afternoon. We spent the early evening making some little Christmas trees. I'll probably head out there again tomorrow to score some more raw materials. Christmas trees for all!

It has! One of my former kid clients is now 20 and actually posted a video on YouTube about how to make these little trees. The tradition will outlive me!

They are really cute. I would have never thought of that, when we go to cut our tree I've noticed disks around and never thought to bring them home and play with them.

I can imagine a couple of them helping to bring the scent of Christmas to a room.

We finally got a tree this morning (usually we have one up and decorated the day after Thanksgiving). I might get around to decorating the tree tomorrow, but I'm not really in the mood and the daughters are in the midst of end of semester stress.
