Good evening friends. I sit tonight and watch a show called "Life Stories". The show deals with real life and people's problems. Tonight in the show, a man whose face is hidden and tells a creepy story. The story of a mother who abused her child, it was frustrating to listen, and then the footage followed. The mother dropped the child from the age of 2.3 to the bed, hit him, shouted at him, held her legs while the child screamed .... The scenes were terrible. The broadcast has terribly upset me. What do you think about this? Have you ever been present with some kind of violence? Have you ever happened to watch something that upset you

I cannot watch this kind of videos, they make me sick. Some mothers are monsters.

You're right, she's not a mother, she's a beast. I was also thinking whether to watch, because the announcement itself was scary, but I still decided, because it is happening in my country.

I get very upset when I hear stories like this. Children are defenseless against adults, and it disgusts me that adults will take advantage of children and abuse them.

Yes, it was awful. My heart was trickling as I watched those footage. I can not believe that such a beast exists. I do not understand why God gave her a child.

That kind of program would upset me a lot. I wouldn't watch it. I know it happens, and I hope the people who abuse their children, spouse, parents, would be found out and put behind bars.

And I very hardly tolerate such shows, because it really upset me, but I just could not look at this. Every time I see something like this, I wonder why God gives such children.

That is horrible abuse. I hate to hear these stories. Very sad. I have seen violence but try to avoid it when possible.

@CarolDM I often wondered how I would react when I was present with some kind of violence. Would I paralyze myself with fear or would I ask for help?

There are a lot of gruesome things that happen in the world. I am fairly sensitive so I have to avoid things that I know will upset me.

No, mother is not in jail. And she's not a mother, she's a beast. I'm not sure, but I think that the man who talked about that story, father of that child, who took the footage to the center for social work and they did not react and left the child to her.

Yes, you are right. I used to often watch such shows, but I realized that I am now putting all the weight in it. Are children in your country protected?
