The child above is my son, Bojong, my third child, and he knows to play spinning tops.
This was taken last year when he compete in the nearby village. He won in one of the categories.
He practice three special moves at that time. But being the youngest and just polishing his moves he lost to much trained and older competitor.
I remember when I was still a child this is one of few games we used to play. I'm good at it. We carved our own spinning top from hard wood.
Now the game is played few by the young generation. Only during fiesta or traditional activities in the countryside.
But my son, he is willing to play. Though he is also in many app games but he still prefer outdoor activities.

This was our game when we are just small kids too. Only few kids know to play spinning tops now. We call it sunay.

I'm really glad my children prefer outdoor games, this is because we are still in the countryside and children here are more physically active.

That is good that amidst the gadgets your son still play this with others. We should encourage our children to play this game and other games that can make them sweat and be exercised all over while playing.

This is the advantage of being in countryside, children go outdoor because their friends are there. Very few here playing alone inside their house.

This is one thing I'm thankful to them. They can still borrow my phone but very few times they play there, they prefer outside.

We call it sunay, in other place they call it turumpo. Yes, kids in physical activities have stronger body immunity.
