Is it possible to understand discussion from title / myLot

I feel most of people here did not read discussion properly ,are some time avoid to read discussion due to his length or any other reason. But make reply quickly as per title. Did you people also feel same

Some post misleading titles, that theoretically is against the rules, but they do anyway. You can immediately notice when someone leave a comment only reading the title, they often miss the meaning of the whole discussion.

I think when the post is very long, some people might just want to respond based on the title of the post. I skip long posts unless it interests me. I never respond without understanding what had been posted.

I suppose some do this but I always read the discussion before replying. You can get caught out if you don't as sometimes the title doesn't really match the text.

@syeow1 If English isn't their first language you need to allow for that. But as you say some are very lax about reading the discussions properly.

It is not possible to understand the discussion simply reading the title. However, I agree, many are responding by reading the title and at times, it does not make sense at all.

@syeow1 When they understand better how myLot works then they know they can also earn by commenting on the responses too but if they don't read the discussion then they are not going to bother to read through all of the responses and comments either. Then they complain though

I always read the entire discussion before I respond. I want to know more details about the topic before I write a response and it is easy to misunderstand the discussion if we only read the title. Sometimes I get the impression that some people only read the title.

@syeow1 Yes, I think that some people do that and sometimes they misunderstand the discussion. I have experienced that in the past. In the title I used a word with more than one meaning and someone misunderstood the meaning. I think that they didn't read the description in the discussion.
