Yesterday, its quarter to 6 in the afternoon but its still dark. We have shorter days and longer nights this time. Well, its December. The school hour of children also adjusted. It used to be 7am but now its 730 in the morning. So now I'm still lying in my bed because its cold and dark outside. I can't run this morning because I have a travel later. Does daylight saving time also changes in your country?

Yes, we're on standard time now. It's dark early here, and the sun rises late as well.

@ilocosboy When the sun is farther from the earth in winter, it's colder.

We have no such thing as daylight saving but just like you we adjust depending on when the sun rises.

Our school timings do not change..and we have no daylight saving because there isn't much of a difference.. The sunrises bit late but gets hot in a short time..

I think even here, we're just affected by long nights now.
