I Lied in a Survey and I was not Screen out

I am experimenting on a survey. I decided to lie on one and gladly I've gotten the points. I know if I tell the truth within it I will be definitely screen out and no points for that. The funny things about some survey site is that they ask us to honest but when we are honest enough they screen us out. I think lying is an important thing now in taking up a survey. Do you agree?

Surveys are very dishonest yet they expect total honesty from you. I did surveys for 7- 8 years and did very well. Some days (not often) I had to go through 20-25 surveys before I qualified for one, other days I could qualify for 4-5 with no problem. You need to teach yourself how to "play" the surveys. But if you're caught being dishonest, most likely the site you're doing them through will ban you. It's a chance you take. And the survey site will remember you - any other site you go to you may get a survey from that same survey company. My advice - be careful and good luck.

Agree with you. Survey sites want honesty from its members but they aren't honest themselves.

I am sure that it is absolutely against the rules plus it screws up their research.

Well, sometimes they deserve it for wasting our time and not giving any consolation for our effort.I have tried taking a very long survey and at the middle of it, they still screen me out for really telling the truth.

Is that so? I did some bit of surveys before and I am just so honest but I think I didn't experience being screened out. Maybe I gave them all a good rating.

Most of the surveys out there are looking for either Americans or other western countries. That is why when you apply they would reject or not accept you outright. I think there are a few that they require Asian participants.

@simplfred I see then you would really have to lie a little to be qualified. I never participateed seriously because I experienced it too of being tagged as unqualified.

@rsa101 One survey site that I really enjoy is Global Test Market because though they screen someone out they give 5 points as a consolation.

That is correct, on every surveys they're only selecting those people who are qualified, and for you to be qualified and to earn you need to lie into it, but I never tried lying to the survey that I'm doing that is why I stopped using it since all of the survey that I answered always says "not qualified"

@tech40 I hate lying too but I think survey sites are the first one lying to us. They want us to be honest but keep punishing us if we tell the truth.

Yes, some sites you can lie and get points cause if you tell the truth you can get nothing or move forward some sites you get more surveys too. I have done it a few times and have gotten more surveys and points. I feel so bad doing it but I needed the points at the time cause I was close to a gift card on one of my sites.

Surveys are time-consuming that’s why I don’t like them that much. But I am with Global Test Market. I’ve been hearing positive reviews about it so I joined. Lol And yes, the more honest/truthful you are, the more chances of you getting screened-out. that’s why I have to lie sometimes to qualify.

That's one good trick. I have the same downfall-- being rejected after completely filling lengthy questionnaires but at the end you're not qualified and redirected to another survey. That's why I do not participate. That one never comes to my mind.
