I saw a bit of George HW Bush's funeral today

While I was on hall duty I was able to see most of W's eulogy and almost all of the homily by the priest. I thought they were lovely. I started to cry when George W broke down at the end of his eulogy. I teared up again when the camera kept panning to James Baker, HW's best friend, crying as the priest talked about Baker being with Bush during his last hour. It was just heartbreaking to see the grief. One of my coworkers, a history teacher, was all dressed up in black today (and huge Barbara Bush-style pearls) "for the funeral" and was watching the funeral with her classes. She can do that because it fits with her curriculum. It doesn't go so well with science, however, so I only caught what I could when I was sitting in the hallway on my duty. I would have liked to have seen the other eulogies. I imagine I can find them online somewhere. One of them (not the Senator nor the former Canadian PM) was actually read to Bush while he was still alive and he is reported to have said "that's an awful lot about me" or something to that effect. Did you watch any of the funeral today? What did you think?
Read former President George W. Bush's eulogy to his father, the late President George H.W. Bush.

I saw a short snippet of it. I've been getting Christmas Presents today, cooking, doing other chores, applying to places etc. I'll hopefully catch some snippets of it tonight.
