An Interesting Ad

I frequently browse area ads, looking to see what may be available once my husband is healthy again. I ran across this ad "Nail Technician--apply at D----H----- auto dealership" Okay, my first thought was: "Do they remove so many nails from tires that they need a specialist?" I read "You must be a licensed cosmetologist" then realize that they are not talking about tire repairs. The job description goes on to explain that the person will be hired for one evening a week, to provide manicures to customers waiting for their cars to be serviced or repaired. No mention is made if employees will also be given this perk. I know competition is steep, but this seems an unusual way to create loyal customers. However it might be very relaxing. Perhaps they should set up several beauty spa services in their multiple dealerships. Keep a customer happy.

I prefer massage too than nail polish on my nail

I am wondering if that would be next. I have a friend who is a massage therapist, who has a hot tub she lets her clients use.

That is very interesting. I take it that one evening a week they have a lot of women customers. I know men rarely get manicures. I just wonder why just once a week.

It may be that it is the one evening a week that they stay open late, or it could be that it is a night that usually is slow and they want to attract more business. I was wondering. I think some men, especially those who do office work, might like to have their hands pampered and nails shaped.

@GardenGerty you just put that idea in my head. Perhaps this is a way to get men to have their nails done in a masculine environment.

I think this is a good idea as it is otherwise very boring to wait

People tend to get grumpy when they have to wait. I bet it would help them be calm.

I do too. It seems like it might. Or it may just be a way of saying Merry Christmas, too.

I guess it helps pass the time while people wait for their cars. I guess maybe they get a bit cranky in the evenings when all they want to do is get home.
