I have always loved being near or in the water. My husband and I are going on our 40th cruise and on a brand new ship. It is one of the big mega ships leaving from Miami and going to some great ports.
We have been on the same cruise a few times but not on this new ship. It is exciting as it is huge. We always do a lot of research about the ships before we go on them.
After being in most of the islands many times we don't even get off the ship when in port. We actually prefer staying on the ship as there is so much to do and it is better for using all the amenities when most of the people get off and are gone all day.
Like Arnold Schwarzenegger said years ago, I'll be back.

We went on Norwegians brand new ship the "Bliss". It is the largest cruise ship on the water now. Look it up on line. I never went on a cruise where I lost weight and still ate a lot. The ship is so big but we didn't mind that. We took our time and when we are having fun we don't realize how much walking we did.

Being an veteran "ship cruiser" did you ever get seasick? And what was your most enjoyable foods you sampled at mealtime?

I certainly did get very sea sick on my very first cruise. We hit a hurricane and I puked for a few days. I will never forget that one but since then I can ride in the worst storms now with no problem.

@dgobucks226 As bad luck would have it, on my first trip we hit a hurricane. That was a 2 week trip and I was sick for almost half of it. It was so rough I fell on the captains lap as I was supposed to be doing his nails and a big wave hit. That was very embarrassing.

@ramapo17 I guess people react differently for sure. I haven't been on a cruise, but I probably would get sea sick. I get car sick if I'm reading while riding in the passenger seat on long trips. Usually headaches and nausea

Thank you. I plan on taking pictures if I can get away from eating all the good food.
