Do you ask for suggestions

Life is filled with decision making moments. Sometimes we know what to do , sometimes we need assistance.
I know of people who ask for suggestions and then do what they have decided even before they asked you.
Then there are those who ask but knock down every one of your suggestions for no good reason.
There are the others who just think for themselves and go with what they decide.
There are also those who ask everyone and do a bit of what everyone tells them.
I do not ask for suggestions very often, I decide what I want to do and go on with it, if it only concerns me. However i do take suggestions from others if they would be affected by my decisions..I try to find one that works for everyone.
Do you ask for suggestion and how do you act on them.?

At this age, I rarely ask for suggestions unless I need an expert opinion on something which I lack knowledge or experience. I will do some research on the internet to understand the situation or problem. If there is a Bible principle involved then I will meditate on pertinent passages. The thing is to avoid problems as much as possible!

@sofssu Thank you! Yes, I think that when a problem or decisions presents itself the best and first thing to do is to approach God in prayer and seek his guidance and help. I have a feeling that it is also what you do.

I don’t usually ask suggestions from others,too. I prefer just to go what I think is the best thing to do.

I don't ask for suggestions every often. I sometimes accept the suggestion.

i do the same as you. i want it on my own if it is only me effected but get suggestions when it concerns others

It all depends on what I'm asking a suggestion for, if it food I will surely ask but other things I just go with whatever I want.
