Do you ever close your eye or cup your hand over it and see an eye staring back at you? Who do you think it could be or what is doing that? Is this something that happens to a lot of people or is it just me?

@akalinus I don't want to say that this hasn't happened to me because I feel like there is a memory trying to come forth of me doing that but struggling to actually remember. BUT I do know that so many times when I close my eyes, even in darkness, I will start to see colours that just dance around or create weird shapes.

I also see colors, sometimes. It could be big jagged blotches of purple or green. It works better if you don't shut your eyes really tight, just let a tiny amount of light filter in.

@VivaLaDani13 I always think there is something wrong when that happens. Sometimes I see smoke with my left eye and I always get a migraine or a bad headache when that happens.

Doesn't happen to me. I can tell something is coming at me like with a shadow if the light is turned on.

This is not a shadow, I see it when I close my eyes lightly. It is behind my eyelids. And, I don't always see it.

I have experienced it and I looked it up online. I read about something called closed-eye hallucinations, it can be colors, patterns and other things. I mostly see colors. I have seen an eye, too but only a few times.

@akalinus It would be interesting to know that why we get that kind of hallucinations. I read that it mostly happens in a dark room, but I also experience it when it isn't dark around me.
