Happy Friday!

Whoohoo it's Friday! One day closer to the weekend. I'm sure those of you who work are excited that the weekend is here while us retired folks just count the weekend as another regular day. It's a sunny, but cold day here today but totally not unexpected since it is December. No snow in the forecast for my area so that means we can go about our business and continue getting ready for the holidays without a snow storm to put a snag in everything. My daughter is off to do some Christmas shopping with her friends today so it's just me and the pups. I have the day to myself, don't have to worry about cooking dinner and am going to try to get my things that need doing done so I can relax this afternoon and either read or find a good movie to watch. Nothing much happening here....just the usual holiday busy. With a large family like I have it takes a lot of planning to get everything done. I only have a few small gifts left to buy and one thing I ordered has been shipped. That makes me happy because I was worried it was taking so long. Hopefully I can spend more time here today. Anything exciting planned for this weekend?

It has been sunny today, very cold in the morning, almost warm by noon. I am busy watching the new kids of the neighbors, the younger ginger kitty felt inside the pond to fight with the others... he jumped out, do not worry.

It's good to have a quiet day to yourself. I'm glad most of your shopping is finished. I have a big weekend and I'm excited, as always. Tonight is my small group, which always seems to last longer than the week before. Good discussion. Tomorrow, I have the L.I.F.T. ladies brunch. I have the teaching ready and I know what I'm serving. Everyone brings a dish to pass, so it should be interesting. I also have a friend stopping by in a couple hours to show me something on the Internet that confused the heck out of me. So, yes, busy. In the meantime, I need to straighten and clean before everything. Somehow I'm going to get another chapter done today.

I am one of those retired people who count the weekend as just another set of days. I used to long for Fridays when I was working. This weekend is wide open for us.

I'm looking forward to a unplanned weekend as well. Once this weekend ends then we'll be in the holiday rush to get everything finished.

Finally! I missed sleeping for almost 12 hours. I can only do this on weekend since I'm gonna stay at home

Happy Friday! We did not have any plans, just resting and relaxing. Our son and his wife want to go to Hamilton on Sunday, but their dog can only be left alone for so long. So, my husband and I will go down and grand dog sit for a while. The kids are going to Ikea shopping and to see some friends up near Niagara Falls.

For me, the work days are easy, I like the job, even on weekends if I get a shift, it is all right. I went to visit my nephews, we lighted 6 candles on the Menorah (it is a Hanuka tradition). We ate some doughnuts, made by their mom. Tomorrow I will go dance israeli folk dances near the beach (on the way to the beach inside a sport hall because of the rain). I will have a night shift in 25 hours from now. It will be fun.

It is Friday so I feel very happy. Soon it will be the weekend and I can spend time with my children. I will go Christmas shopping on Tuesday next week. The shops seem to be quite crowded. I need to visit my local library and it is an excellent place for my children to so some reading.
