I received a lot of invitations coming from friends. Plus there is this High School reunion coming. God knows how I wanted to come and join the fun. The mind says I'm okay but my physical body is shouting I'm not really okay. Last night my college friends conducted a mini-informal gathering somewhere in the city. I planned to attend but since I don't have much rest and sleep during my treatment, I end up watching their photos instead with great envy. At this moment, I am all alone because Mother and Brother went to a party and I did not join them. For sure people at the party will keep asking me about myself and don't like to entertain such ignorance. Did someone invite you today?

@JustBhem It’s because I’m unemployed and I’m from overseas and they’re expecting me to be loaded but I’m not. I really am depressed and don’t want to interact. I need time to grieve.

@flapiz I see. Now it makes sense. These are one of the illness most people have if they know a friend or relatives working and living in abroad they will think they are still loaded.

So sorry that your social life is taking toll on your health. I may not know your real health situation but I think you need a lot of resting at the moment to recover from your health problem.

Thanks for the concern. I'm having a kidney problem resulted in me to have my twice a week treatment called Dialysis.

@rsa101 The more I rested myself the more I will feel the sickness I am having. So as much possible I am making myself busy just the way it was. And if I feel like I am not progressing, that's the only time I will take a rest. Then go back again.

If you do not feel well you are better at home. Nobody invited me yesterday or today. Surely our friends will invite us for the holidays and we are going to decline, because we want to stay at home.

me too, hija. i am invited by our clinical coordinator for the Christmas party of the college of nursing on the 21st.i declined, but he said i will be a judge for a contest. but one thing i don't like to join is the contribution. you see, i have no salary on the 2nd half of December and our contribution is P1k. wow, that is already for the laboratory examination i will have on December 13.
