If you do what kind of relief are you getting? you noticed in the photo that is what I am wearing.Mine is 20-30 cc.They last about six months and then will buy some new one.
I have to elevated my legs three or four times a day.
To get some relieve. My heart is not strong enough to pump the blood there
Just curious to see anyone here wearing compression socks. Thanks
I guess the photo did not make it here.
why do we wear compression sockscrazycompression.com
Compression stockings are specially designed to apply pressure to your lower legs, helping to maintain blood flow and reduce discomfort and swelling. They may be prescribed by your GP if you have a condition that causes poor blood flow in your legs, such as: varicose veins (swollen and enlarged veins)

If we are traveling a great distance by car I will sometimes wear them. They work well to keep legs from swelling.

I had to wear them after I broke my ankle to prevent DVTs. Other than that, no. I’m sorry you have to wear them. They’re very expensive.

@amadeo — oh, is that the truth! I had a prescription for the socks, so I “had” to go there. Of course, that was my first major bone break, and I learned many lessons which I hopefully will never need to use.

@amadeo Getting them on and off was a battle--now they have them with a zipper on the side which is so much easier as are getting leg massages!!

I have never worn them but know people who have. I should try then. If I stand for more then about 30 seconds in one spot my legs turn purple and throb painfully. I didn't know compression socks help with circulation. I thought they were just used after surgery.

@amadeo I went once about a few things when I was younger before my insurance ran out and the lady wrote down on my records hypocondria and did not give me helpful advice about any of the problem I brought up. Years later I had to see her again when I was losing so much weight when I was nursing my daughter and she accused me of anorexia or bulemia. If I was either of those I wouldn't have gone asking what to do. I hated that woman I am so glad she left the office and is now retired.
