Learning to Use My New Smartphone

Yes, I finally broke down and bought a smartphone. It was the only way I could jump in and really enjoy Instagram. Posting something from my husband's phone was a pain. I hate the tiny keyboard, but I dictate most of my posts orally from my new Galaxy Note 9. I also have a keyboard I bought for my Ellipsis 8 tablet that never worked. Verizon sold it to me at least a couple of years ago and it never charged properly enough to use. I should have returned it, but I thought I just needed to be patient. Stupid me. But it turns out I'll be using the keyboard a lot. I usually start an Instagram post by dictating and then correct mistakes on the portable keyboard. I love the camera on the phone. I love getting to know you better there, too. As you all may have guessed, learning to use my new phone and spending time on Instagram have kept me away from here more than I would have liked. I also got some work done in the garden Thursday and it really felt good. More about that later. So how many of you I haven't found yet are on Instagram? I'd love to find you. Writing that review, which was due and published on Wednesday, kept me too busy to do anything else but write and learn more about my phone for at least three days.
